Jmore‘s latest JBiz meet-up event took place Nov. 19 at the Royal Sonesta Harbor Court Hotel. Nearly 100 local business leaders, community members and professionals gathered to network, mingle and enjoy delicious food.
In her talk, actress and author Rain Pryor spoke about growing up black and Jewish in Hollywood as the daughter of comedy icon Richard Pryor, about finding a sense of community in Baltimore, and why she’s running for Baltimore City Council in the 3rd District. She also entertained attendees during a lively question-and-answer session.
Guests enjoyed meaningful networking, great atmosphere, and delicious food and drinks. Sponsors of the event included Nemphos Braue LLC attorneys-at-law, the Perlow Home Team, the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business Program at CCBC, and Enradius.
Jmore‘s next networking event will be held Feb. 4, 2020, at the Mount Washington Tavern, featuring a talk by Colleen McKenna of Intero Advisory. McKenna will share her tips on how to get the most out of LinkedIn.
