Orange Sesame Salmon

Course Main Dish

Ingredients

  

• 1-2 tablespoons butter
• 4 six-ounce salmon filets
• salt and pepper
• 1 cup dry white wine
• 4 garlic cloves minced
• 1/4 cup golden raisins chopped
• 1/4 cup orange juice
• 1/4 cup rice wine vinegar
• 1/4 cup honey
• 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
• 1 seedless orange thinly sliced
• 1 ounce toasted white and black sesame seeds 1 ounce each

Instructions

 

• Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sprinkle salmon with salt and pepper and sautè for four minutes on each side.
• Transfer salmon to a plate, cover and keep warm.
• Turn heat to high and add wine to skillet. Scrape any browned bites from the bottom of the pan.
• Stir in garlic and remaining ingredients. Cook 5-7 minutes or until sauce is reduced by half and slightly thickened.
• Pour over salmon.
• Dust the top of the salmon with sesame seeds and garnish with orange slices.
