Baltimore Jewish Film Festival Schedule and Stills

The William and Irene Weinberg Family BJFF presents internationally renowned Jewish-interest films, including several recent Israeli releases. This year’s lineup of 10 movies includes dramas, thrillers, documentaries and a couple familiar faces. Several of the films also include special guest hosts.The festival takes place at the Gordon Center for Performing Arts March 23-April 16.

March 23, 8:30 p.m. — “The Last Suit,” 2018, Argentina/Spain
March 26, 7 p.m. — “And Then She Arrived,” starring Michael Aloni of “Shtisel” fame, 2017, Israel
March 28, 7 p.m. — “Budapest Noir,” with special guest Christopher Reed of Stevenson University, 2017, Hungary
April 4, 7 p.m. — “Winter Hunt,” 2018, Germany
April 7, 1 p.m. — “Azimuth,” 2018, Israel
April 7, 4 p.m. — “Shoelaces,” 2018, Israel
April 9, 7 p.m. — “The Light of Hope,” with special guest Rebecca Boehling of UMBC, 2017, Spain
April 11, 7 p.m. — “Fractures,” 2018, Israel
April 14, 3 p.m. — “Carl Laemmle,” with special guest Linda DeLibero of Johns Hopkins University, documentary includes appearances by Peter Bogdanovich and Leonard Maltin, 2019, USA
April 16, 7 p.m. — “The Invisibles,” with special guest Uta Larkey of Goucher College, 2017, Germany
