Ingredients

  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 cup Nutella
  • 1 cup flour sifted
  • 3.5 oz. white chocolate
  • 1/2 cup hazelnuts toasted
  • vanilla salt optional

Instructions

  • Whisk the egg and sugar into a smooth mixture.
  • Add Nutella and combine well (If the Nutella’s texture is stiff, try warming it in the microwave to smoothen it before adding it to the mixture.)
  • Roughly chop the white chocolate and roasted hazelnuts and add them to the mixture.
  • Sift in the flour and shape into a unified dough.
  • Create dough balls using your hands or a cookie scooper and arrange on a tray with parchment paper.
  • Leave space between the cookies as they will flatten and expand while baking.
  • Sprinkle each cookie ball with coarse vanilla salt (optional)
  • Bake in a 350 degree preheated oven for 10-12 minutes.
  • Let the cookies cool before removing them from the tray.
